About Us
Witty Events is a creative events and project management company founded by former BBC & ITV producer & director Megan Witty.

Megan and her freelance team of experts have produced a wide range of events and worked closely with businesses, councils, BIDs, Chambers of Commerce, SMEs, start-ups and charities.
As well as organising events, we also develop media-friendly promotions and business development for products and start-ups, do research and product development, write press releases, manage event websites and take promotional photographs.

Megan Witty
Event Director
Megan began her career as a researcher on live children's and wildlife programmes at Thames Television in London and then as a Producer/Director at the BBC Natural History Unit in Bristol, filming wildlife and conservation stories around the world.
​
She has had close encounters with wildlife in some amazing locations, from orang utans in Borneo to blue whales in Iceland, great whites in South Africa, lemurs in Madagascar and giant tortoises in the Seychelles.
​
She once shared a bed with a mongoose in South Africa, was bitten by a gorilla in The Gambia and pursued by an amorous wild dolphin off the Northumberland coast, but that's another story!
For the last 15 years Megan and her team of freelance experts have created and produced a wide range of high profile creative events from city wide art trails to gala dinners, charity auctions, corporate and experiential events, product launches and festivals.
