Minerva's Owls of Bath 2018

We organised the 'Owls of Bath' public art sculpture trail, which saw 80 painted owl sculptures displayed across the World Heritage city of Bath from July to September 2018. The event attracted national media coverage, increased visitor numbers and raised over £100,000 for local charities.

We brought in 80 event sponsors, 80 artists, celebrity ambassadors including Chris Packham, Michaela Strachan and Michael Eavis, commissioned the event app, liaised with the council, businesses, schools and key stakeholders, were responsible for the event budget, team management, logistics, website, photography and all aspects of the year-long event, which received five national PR awards.

The event received over 330 pieces of press coverage, including 50 TV and radio broadcast features, including BBC & ITV news, The Times, Sunday Mirror, Telegraph and The Guardian.

215,352 Owls of Bath app questions were correctly answered on the trail and the event website received

over 250,000 page views. By the end of the campaign it is estimated that news of the Owls of  Bath

event reached over 6.7m people.
